SEI founder Alfred West to resign from board January 1

SEI Investments Company (NASDAQ: SEIC) announced that founder Alfred P. West Jr. will resign from the board of directors and as an officer of the company and its subsidiaries, effective January 1, 2026.
West founded SEI Investments in 1968 and served as chief executive officer for more than 50 years before becoming executive chairman of the board. He tendered his resignation on December 12, 2025.
The company stated that West indicated his resignation was not due to any disagreement with SEI regarding operations, policies or practices.
