Route 109 Resources appoints Irwin as director, resumes trading

June 30, 2026 5:02 PM EDT

Route 109 Resources Inc. (TSXV: RTE) (OTCQB: MRIRF) has appointed Chris Irwin to its board of directors, according to a press release issued June 30, 2026.

Irwin is the managing partner of Irwin Lowy LLP, a position he has held since January 2010. He previously served as president of Irwin Professional Corporation from August 2006 to December 2009, and as an associate at Wildeboer Dellelce LLP from January 2004 to July 2006. He practices securities and corporate/commercial law and serves as a director and/or officer of a number of public companies.

With Irwin's addition, Route 109 said it is again compliant with TSX Venture Exchange Policy 3.1, which requires a listed issuer to have at least three directors, two of whom are independent. The board now consists of Irwin, Wanda Cutler, and Verlee Webb, all three of whom are classified as independent and serve on the audit committee. The company said its common shares will resume trading on the exchange under the symbol "RTE."

The company noted it has not yet appointed a replacement for former CEO Robert Pryde, who resigned, leaving the company out of compliance with the exchange's requirement that each issuer have a CEO. The board said it is continuing its search and intends to fill the position.
