Richard Lowenthal resigned from the board of directors of ARS Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPRY) on July 15, 2026, effective immediately.
According to a company statement, Lowenthal's resignation was a condition of his right to receive severance compensation under the terms of his employment agreement and the company's Change in Control and Severance Benefit Plan. The arrangement was previously described in the company's Definitive Proxy Statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on April 29, 2026.
Also on July 15, 2026, Sarina Tanimoto, M.D., the company's Chief Medical Officer, ceased employment with ARS Pharmaceuticals under conditions constituting a termination without cause.
