Red River Bancshares, Inc. (NASDAQ: RRBI) announced the retirement of board member Kirk D. Cooper and the appointment of two new directors to its board, according to a company statement.
Cooper, a founding director who served on the company's board since 1998 and the bank's board since 1999, retired effective May 7, 2026, at the company's annual shareholder meeting. The company appointed A. Peyton Bush, IV and R. Chance DeWitt, M.D. to the boards of both the company and Red River Bank effective May 28, 2026.
Bush serves as chief investment officer of Bollinger Enterprises, LLC, a single-family investment office in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he oversees investment activities and asset allocation. He previously held positions at LongueVue Capital, Highland Capital Management, and JP Morgan Securities.
DeWitt is a cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon with Lourdes Cardiovascular Clinic in Lafayette, Louisiana. He serves as director of cardiac rehabilitation and medical director of the Structural Heart Program at Our Lady of Lourdes Heart Hospital. DeWitt graduated from LSU Medical College and completed his residency at the University of Tennessee at Memphis and fellowship at the University of Texas in Houston.
The appointments fill the vacancy created by Cooper's retirement and another director's resignation last year. Following these changes, Red River Bancshares will have ten directors.
Red River Bank operates 28 banking centers throughout Louisiana and three loan and deposit production offices in New Orleans, Lafayette, and Shreveport.
