Real Brokerage adds agent Ken Pozek to board of directors

The Real Brokerage Inc. (NASDAQ: REAX) announced that Ken Pozek, founder of The Pozek Group, has joined its board of directors, according to a company statement.

Pozek leads an 18-agent Orlando-based real estate team that recently rejoined Real Brokerage. He founded The Pozek Group in 2016 after beginning his real estate career in 2003 as an investor and appraiser.

"As a brokerage built by and for agents, it's important that their perspective is represented in the boardroom," said Tamir Poleg, chairman and CEO of Real Brokerage.

The appointment increases Real Brokerage's board to nine members. Pozek will continue serving as founder and CEO of The Pozek Group while fulfilling his board duties.

"Agents have a real stake in the company, and joining the Board allows me to bring that perspective to the table in a meaningful way," Pozek said in the statement.

Real Brokerage operates a digital platform supporting over 32,000 agents across the United States and Canada. The Miami-based company combines real estate, mortgage and closing services with technology platforms.

The company stated that agents collectively represent its largest shareholder group, making agent representation on the board a strategic priority.
