REAlloys Inc., a critical mineral company and merger target of Blackboxstocks Inc. (NASDAQ: BLBX), appointed Brad Wall, former Premier of Saskatchewan, to its corporate board of directors.
Wall served as Saskatchewan's 14th Premier from 2007 to 2018. During his tenure, the province added 60,000 jobs, reduced operating debt by nearly $1 billion, and achieved Saskatchewan's first AAA credit rating. He retired from public office in 2018 and currently serves as special advisor to Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP and holds board positions with Whitecap Resources, NexGen Energy, Helium Evolution, and Maxim Power.
REAlloys operates a downstream magnet manufacturing facility in Euclid, Ohio, and owns the Hoidas Lake Rare Earth Elements Project in Saskatchewan. The project contains a mineral resource estimate of 2,153,000 tons of Total Rare Earth Oxides in measured and indicated categories.
"REAlloys' vision for building a vertically integrated rare earth supply chain entirely independent from Chinese materials and technology, represents a major evolutionary step forward in the United States' and Canada's ability to defend their national interests," Wall said in a statement.
The company has a memorandum of understanding with The Saskatchewan Research Council for midstream services and recently acquired PMT Critical Metals in the United States as part of its vertical integration strategy.
