Prince Silver names Marco Montecinos to advisory board, grants options
Prince Silver Corp. (CSE:PRNC)(OTCQB: PRNCF)(FRA:T130) appointed Marco Montecinos to its advisory board, according to a company statement. Montecinos will also stand for election as a director at the company's upcoming annual general meeting.
Montecinos brings over 40 years of experience in mineral exploration and business development across the Americas. He contributed to the discovery of the three million-ounce Marlin Gold Deposit in Guatemala and multiple gold deposits in Nevada, Mexico, and Central America.
The appointee previously held senior positions including Vice President of Exploration for Caza Gold Corp. and Montana Gold, and provided consulting services to Francisco Gold, Phelps Dodge, Placer Dome, and Billiton. He currently serves as Vice President of Exploration for Gunpoint Exploration Ltd. and US Critical Metals Corp., while leading Tigren, Inc., a Nevada-based exploration services company.
"Marco's extensive track record in Nevada-based exploration, from discovery to development, will be a tremendous asset as we continue to advance our projects," said Ralph Shearing, President and Director.
Prince Silver also granted 950,000 incentive stock options to directors, employees and advisors. The options are exercisable at C$0.45 per common share for five years, subject to Canadian Stock Exchange approval. The options will vest over 24 months, with one quarter vesting after six months and the remainder in equal quarterly installments thereafter.
Prince Silver focuses on advancing the Prince Silver Project in Nevada and holds an interest in the Stampede Gap Project, located approximately 15 kilometers north-northwest of the Prince Silver Project.
