Pitney Bowes adds La Vonda Williams to its board

Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE: PBI) has appointed La Vonda Williams to its board of directors, effective immediately, according to a press release from the company.
Williams brings experience in finance and operations, including roles at Goldman Sachs, where she served as Vice President of Equity Derivatives Operations from 2014 to 2019. She previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Onegevity Health until its acquisition by Thorne HealthTech in 2021, and as Chief Operating Officer of Solaire Generation.
Williams also previously served as an independent director of Altra Industrial Motion Corporation from 2021 to 2023, where she was a member of the Audit Committee. Altra entered into a merger agreement with Regal Rexnord in 2023.
She will serve on the board's recently established Strategic Review Committee. Williams holds an M.B.A. from Stanford University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Harvard University.
Board Chair Brent Rosenthal said Williams' "extensive experience in banking, the capital markets, corporate finance and transactions" as well as her "perspectives pertaining to operational excellence and process improvements" were factors in her appointment.
Pitney Bowes said additional details will be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on a Form 8-K.
