Phoenix Education Partners names Robert Brackenbury to its board

Phoenix Education Partners, Inc. (NYSE: PXED) appointed Robert Brackenbury to its Board of Directors as a Class I director on July 9, 2026. He will also serve on the board's audit committee.
Brackenbury most recently served as Deputy Chief Investment Officer at the State of Michigan Retirement System, a position he held until 2026 after joining the organization in 2010. In that role, he oversaw investment management of more than $170 billion in combined pension and other state trust fund assets.
Earlier in his career, Brackenbury served as a State Tax Tribunal judge and as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Michigan. He also spent a decade in senior administrative roles at Eastern Michigan University and served as a U.S. Army officer on active duty and in the U.S. Army Reserve. He currently serves on the board of directors of Athene Holding Ltd. and as an investment committee member for community foundations in Michigan.
Brackenbury holds degrees from Eastern Michigan University, the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, and Wayne State University Law School, and completed the Senior Executives in State and Local Government Program at Harvard Kennedy School.
The company stated there are no arrangements or understandings between Brackenbury and any other person related to his selection, and no reportable transactions exist between him and the company.
