Peter Nobel joins Mercurity Fintech board as independent director
Mercurity Fintech Holding Inc. (NASDAQ: MFH) announced the appointment of Peter Nobel as Independent Director and Wilfred Daye as Director to its Board of Directors.
Nobel serves as Chairman of the Nobel Sustainability Trust Foundation and previously held senior executive roles at Alfa Laval and SWEP International. Daye currently serves as Chief Strategy Officer at Mercurity Fintech.
The Nobel Sustainability Trust Foundation was founded by Nobel in 2007. The company describes itself as a blockchain-powered fintech group and Russell 2000 Index member that operates through subsidiaries including Chaince Securities, LLC.
"Peter Nobel represents something truly unique in our industry – a bridge between the institutional credibility that traditional finance demands and the innovative spirit that digital assets require," said Shi Qiu, CEO of Mercurity Fintech.
Nobel stated that he was attracted to the company's approach to transparency, sustainability, and ethical governance in financial innovation. "The evolution of finance through blockchain and digital assets represents one of the most profound shifts in how value moves through our global economy," he said.
The company operates in digital assets, financial advisory, and capital markets solutions, according to the press release statement.
