PDS Biotechnology Corporation (Nasdaq: PDSB) announced the appointment of John Dawson CBE, Deborah Ramsdell, and Bruce Wendel to its board of directors, effective October 18, 2026. The appointments coincide with the resignations of four existing board members: Stephen Glover, Kamil Ali-Jackson, Gregory Freitag, and Otis Brawley, also effective October 18, 2026.
The Princeton, N.J.-based company said the three incoming directors bring experience in corporate development, commercialization, and regulatory affairs. The board changes come as PDS Biotech advances its cancer immunotherapy candidate PDS0301 toward a Phase 3 trial in metastatic colorectal cancer and pursues partnership opportunities for PDS0101.
Dawson has served as executive chair of Virocell Therapeutics since March 2023 and previously served as chief executive officer of Oxford Biomedica plc from 2008 to 2022. Ramsdell currently serves as chief executive officer of Pluvia Biotech and has more than 35 years of experience in drug development and regulatory affairs. Wendel previously held the role of executive vice president of corporate development at Bristol-Myers Squibb and served as vice chairman and chief executive officer of Abraxis BioScience.
Following the board restructuring, the reconstituted audit committee comprises James Banaag as chair, along with Dawson and Wendel. The compensation committee is chaired by Patrick Soon-Shiong, with Banaag and Dawson as members. The nominating and governance committee consists of Wendel as chair, Ramsdell, and Ilian Iliev.
