OpenText adds Jill Larsen to board as Kristen Ludgate resigns

Open Text Corporation (NASDAQ: OTEX, TSX: OTEX) has appointed Jill Larsen to its board of directors, effective immediately, according to a press release issued July 17, 2026.

Larsen currently serves as Chief People Officer at Synopsys, Inc., where she oversees organizational strategy, talent planning, employee experience, and leadership development for a global workforce of more than 25,000 employees.

Before joining Synopsys, Larsen held Chief People Officer and other C-suite roles at PTC, Medidata, Cisco Systems, EMC, and SunGard. She holds a B.A. in Communications and English from Boston College and an M.S. in Human Resources Management from Emmanuel College. She is a certified Professional in Human Resources and a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors.

"She is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in executive compensation, workforce planning, talent acquisition and organizational design," said Tom Jenkins, Chair of the OpenText Board.

Concurrent with Larsen's appointment, board member Kristen Ludgate notified the company of her resignation, also effective July 17, 2026. The company stated the resignation was for personal reasons and was not related to any disagreement over company operations, policies, or practices.
