Ondas Holdings adds former CIA officer to advisory board

Ondas Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: ONDS) announced that James Acuna has joined the advisory board of its Ondas Autonomous Systems unit. Acuna is a former Central Intelligence Agency operations officer with 30 years of international security and technology experience.

Acuna founded the Baltic Ghost Wing Center of Excellence in Estonia, which develops drone training and testing procedures based on battlefield experience from Ukraine. He spent two decades conducting CIA field operations across Eurasia and Central Asia.

The company stated that Ondas and Acuna will present an investment framework for unmanned and autonomous technologies at DSEI 2025, a defense and security exhibition scheduled for September 9-12, 2025 in London.

"James is a uniquely experienced operator and strategist who bridges intelligence, defense, and technology expertise," said Eric Brock, Chairman and CEO of Ondas Holdings. "His leadership in establishing battlefield-proven drone training and his extensive network across NATO, Ukraine, and Eastern Europe will be instrumental as we build scalable investment and commercialization pathways for unmanned systems."

Acuna previously founded Frontier Vectors LLC before establishing Baltic Ghost Wing. He has advised governments, defense ministries, and manufacturers on unmanned and autonomous systems for both defense and commercial applications.

Ondas Holdings provides autonomous drone and private wireless solutions through its Ondas Autonomous Systems and Ondas Networks business units. The company operates subsidiaries American Robotics and Airobotics, which offer drone platforms including the Optimus System and Iron Drone Raider counter-drone system.
