OPAL Fuels executive joins The Transport Project board

OPAL Fuels (NASDAQ: OPAL) announced that Jared Stedl, Chief Commercial Officer of Fuel Station Services, has been elected to the Board of Directors of The Transport Project, a coalition of nearly 200 organizations focused on low-carbon transportation fuels in North America.

The Transport Project represents fleets, vehicle and engine manufacturers, suppliers, and fuel producers that advocate for the growth of renewable and low-carbon transportation fuels.

"I'm excited to join the board of The Transport Project at a critical time for our industry," Stedl said. "As more fleets turn to RNG and CNG to reduce emissions while meeting operational and economic objectives, organizations like The Transport Project play an important role in advancing education and industry collaboration."

Dan Gage, President of The Transport Project, said Stedl's background spans fleet operations and fuel infrastructure. "Jared's experience working across transportation, logistics, and alternative fuels will be a valuable addition to our board," Gage said.

Stedl oversees sales, customer strategy, business development, and market growth at OPAL Fuels. He has more than two decades of experience in transportation, logistics, and alternative fuels. Previous roles include Chief Commercial Officer at Paper Transport, senior positions at Schneider, and business development roles at Trillium CNG.

OPAL Fuels, headquartered in White Plains, N.Y., produces and distributes renewable natural gas and compressed natural gas for heavy-duty trucking.
