ONE Nuclear Energy names CFO and nominates new board director

ONE Nuclear Energy LLC has appointed Ann Anthony as chief financial officer and nominated Elizabeth Williams as an independent board director, according to a press release from the company.

Anthony joins from Oberon Fuels, where she also served as CFO. Before that, she was CFO of OPAL Fuels Inc. (NASDAQ: OPAL), where she guided the company through its SPAC-to-public-market transition. She previously held roles as Principal Financial Officer at South Jersey Industries Utilities and Vice President and Treasurer at South Jersey Industries, Inc. (SJI). In her new role, she will oversee capital formation, project finance, treasury, controls, and investor relations.

Williams is currently an independent board director at Innventure (NASDAQ: INV) and Audit Committee Chair at Hennessy Capital Investment Corp. VIII (NASDAQ: HCICU). Her prior executive roles include SVP of Strategy and Corporate Development at Tenneco, Head of Corporate Strategy at ABB, and VP of Corporate Strategy at Maersk. She is expected to chair the Audit Committee of the ONE Nuclear board.

The additions complete a slate of four independent director nominees for a planned seven-member board. The other independent nominees are Kyle Crowley, formerly SVP of Corporate Finance and Development at Exelon Corporation; Darryl Willis, Corporate Vice President at Microsoft; and Dan Hennessy, Managing Member of Hennessy Capital Group.

The appointments come ahead of ONE Nuclear's planned business combination with Hennessy Capital Investment Corp. VII (NASDAQ: HVII), which was announced in October 2025. The combined company is expected to list on Nasdaq under the ticker "ONEN," with the transaction anticipated to close in the third quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. The SEC declared the related registration statement effective on August 3, 2026.
