Nutriband adds Robert J. O'Neill to its advisory board

Nutriband Inc. (NASDAQ: NTRB, NASDAQ: NTRBW) has appointed Robert J. O'Neill, a former U.S. Navy SEAL, to its Advisory Board, the company announced in a press release.

O'Neill served 16 years in the U.S. Navy, including eight years with SEAL Team Six, and participated in more than 400 combat missions. He is known for his role in Operation Neptune's Spear, the 2011 mission that resulted in the death of Osama bin Laden. During his military career, he received more than 50 decorations, including two Silver Stars and four Bronze Stars with Valor.

O'Neill is also the author of the New York Times best-selling memoir "The Operator: Firing the Shots That Killed Osama bin Laden and My Years as a SEAL Team Warrior" and is a contributor to national media on leadership and national security.

Following his military service, O'Neill has advocated for veteran health care access, including appearing alongside veterans at a White House executive order signing aimed at accelerating research into psychedelic-assisted therapies through the Department of Veterans Affairs.

"Rob has spent his career operating at the highest levels of pressure, precision, and decision-making, and he's continued that same commitment through his advocacy for adequate care and the military community he comes from," said Gareth Sheridan, CEO of Nutriband.

Nutriband is developing a portfolio of transdermal pharmaceutical products. Its lead product is an abuse-deterrent fentanyl patch incorporating its AVERSA technology, which has not yet received regulatory approval.
