NovaRed forms advisory board, names communications VP
NovaRed Mining Inc. (CSE: NRED) (OTCQB: NREDF) announced the formation of an advisory board and appointed Commander Phil Ehr as its inaugural member, according to a company statement.
Commander Ehr, a 26-year U.S. Navy veteran, rose from enlisted seaman to commander during his military career. He conducted reconnaissance missions during the Cold War, provided combat support in the Gulf War, and oversaw air combat operations in NATO's Balkan campaign. The company said he currently focuses on humanitarian aid initiatives and national security-focused energy projects.
The advisory board will provide technical, strategic, financial, and marketing advice to the board of directors as the company prepares to finance and conduct exploration on its Wilmac Copper-Gold Project. NovaRed stated it is reviewing additional candidates for the advisory board.
The Vancouver-based mining company also appointed Kirk Reed as vice-president of communications. Reed previously served as president of Showcase Minerals Inc. from 2021 to 2025 and held executive positions at Globe Net Wireless Corp. and Candorado Operating Company Ltd.
NovaRed amended its marketing agreement with PRAI Inc., changing the six-month term commencement date to March 25, 2026, from the initially planned October 15, 2025. PRAI will provide marketing services including content marketing, advertisements, and email marketing to raise public awareness of the company.
PRAI filed a provisional patent application on NovaRed's behalf for an artificial intelligence-driven mineral exploration platform. The platform aims to aggregate geological, geochemical, geophysical, and mining claim data from multiple databases into a unified system with probabilistic scoring to estimate mineral potential for land parcels.
NovaRed's Wilmac copper-gold project comprises 11,504 hectares in British Columbia's Quesnel porphyry belt, located approximately 10 kilometers west of Hudbay Minerals Inc.'s Copper Mountain Mine.
