NiobiumX Mining adds geologist Erik Sehn to its board
NiobiumX Mining Inc. (CSE: NIOX)(OTCQB: NIOXF)(FSE: O7D0) has appointed Erik Sehn, P.Geo., to its board of directors, effective September 17, 2026, according to a company statement.
Sehn is a professional geologist with nearly ten years of experience in mineral exploration in Canada. He has served as Vice President, Exploration at F4 Uranium Corp. since September 2025 and previously held senior roles at F3 Uranium Corp., where he contributed to the discovery of the JR Zone and the Tetra Zone at the Patterson Lake North project in the Athabasca Basin of Saskatchewan. His earlier work included the Triple R deposit.
NiobiumX said Sehn will advise the board on the design and execution of a two-phase exploration program at the company's Shipshaw Property, a package of 48 mineral claims totaling approximately 2,686 hectares in the Saint-Honoré carbonatite district of Quebec. The property's nearest claim boundary lies less than two kilometers from the producing Niobec mine. The program, recommended in a technical report with an effective date of February 17, 2026, calls for relocation and re-assay of historical drill core and magnetic modelling, followed by drill testing. The property does not host a mineral resource or mineral reserve estimate.
The company also announced that Dr. Terrance G. Owen resigned as a director, effective the same date. Dr. Owen had served as an independent director through the company's acquisition of the Shipshaw Property and its transition from Arctic Fox Lithium Corp. to NiobiumX Mining Inc.
