New Earth Resources adds geologist Harrison Cookenboo to advisory board

New Earth Resources Corp. (CSE: EATH) announced the appointment of Harrison Cookenboo to its advisory board. Cookenboo holds a Ph.D. and is a professional geologist with more than 35 years of experience in geological evaluation worldwide.



Cookenboo earned his bachelor's degree in geology from Duke University and worked five years in hydrocarbon exploration in the offshore Gulf of Mexico region. He completed his master's and doctoral degrees in geology at the University of British Columbia.



The geologist has exploration and research experience in precious metals, base metals, rare earth metals, diamonds, kimberlites, and sedimentological processes including oil and gas. He has authored more than 25 technical reports meeting National Instrument 43-101 standards for mineral project disclosure.



Cookenboo is registered as a professional geologist with the Association of Engineers and Geoscientists in British Columbia, the Association of Professional Engineers and Geologists of Saskatchewan, and The Professional Engineers & Geoscientists Newfoundland & Labrador. He is also a Fellow of the Geological Association of Canada.



New Earth Resources is a Canadian mineral exploration company. Its main project is the Lucky Boy Uranium Property in Gila County, Arizona, which covers 273 acres across 14 lode claims. The property includes a former open pit and underground workings that produced uranium in the 1950s and 1970s.



The company also holds three uranium claims in Saskatchewan covering 365 hectares. Additionally, New Earth has options to acquire interests in the SL Project in Quebec's Strange Lake area covering 1,101 hectares and the Red Wine Rare Earth Project in Labrador covering 1,575 hectares across two non-contiguous claims.
