Netgear adds Douglas Murray to its board of directors

Netgear (NASDAQ: NTGR) announced that its board of directors elected Douglas Murray as a new board member, effective August 3, 2026.

The board has not yet determined Murray's committee assignment. Murray will be compensated under the terms of the company's Non-Employee Director Compensation Policy, as described in the proxy statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on April 16, 2026. Netgear and Murray also entered into the company's standard indemnification agreement for directors.

According to the announcement, there are no arrangements or understandings between Murray and any other person related to his selection as a director, and no transactions involving Murray that would require reporting under Item 404(a) of Regulation S-K.
