NeOnc Technologies adds strategy executive Nasim Shomali to its board

NeOnc Technologies Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: NTHI), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on central nervous system cancer therapies, has appointed Nasim Shomali to its Board of Directors, effective July 1, 2026, according to a press release statement.



Shomali brings more than a decade of experience in corporate strategy, financial planning, and organizational advisory roles. She most recently served as a strategy executive at Accenture, where she advised Fortune 100 and multinational companies across the life sciences, technology, and energy sectors. Her work included corporate strategy development, financial modeling, market sizing, and board-level advisory.



Earlier in her career, Shomali held a private equity role at Maybrook Capital Partners, where she led commercial and financial due diligence. She began her career in an engineering position at InBios International, Inc., focused on manufacturing throughput and product profitability.



Shomali holds an MBA in Finance from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, completed an executive program at the Yale School of Management, and earned a BS in Bioengineering and a BA in Mathematics from the University of Washington.



Amir Heshmatpour, Executive Chairman, President and CEO of NeOnc, said Shomali "brings a valuable combination of scientific, strategic and financial expertise" and that her "disciplined approach to capital allocation will strengthen our Board."



NeOnc's NEO100 and NEO212 drug candidates are currently in Phase 2 clinical trials and hold FDA Fast-Track and Investigational New Drug status. The company's patent protections on its NEO platform extend to 2038.
