NameSilo Technologies Corp. (CSE: URL) (PINKSHEETS: URLOF) announced that its subsidiary NameSilo LLC acquired 100% of ShortURL.at, a link shortening platform. The company also appointed Dan Milic to its board of directors and granted stock options and restricted share units to personnel.

NameSilo, which manages over 5.8 million active domains, acquired the link shortening service as part of its strategy to integrate internet infrastructure assets. The company plans to integrate its domain and DNS infrastructure with ShortURL to enable custom short links on user-owned domains, with a new branded link platform scheduled for release within two weeks.

"This acquisition aligns perfectly with our long-term product roadmap," said Kristaps Ronka, CEO of NameSilo. "It allows us to pair a popular consumer tool with our backend expertise in domain management, while creating new monetization pathways through branded short links and enterprise-grade customization."

The company appointed Dan Milic, founder of investment research firm Inference Point, to its board of directors. Milic holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Ryerson University, a Master of Finance from the Rotman School of Management, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He focuses on identifying high-growth public companies primarily in Canada and has experience in corporate finance and banking.

NameSilo granted 1,025,000 stock options to officers, directors and consultants at an exercise price of $1.40 per share for five years. The company also granted 750,000 restricted share units to its management team, which will vest on the first anniversary of the grant.

NameSilo LLC operates as an ICANN-accredited domain registrar serving customers in approximately 160 countries. The parent company, NameSilo Technologies Corp., invests in undervalued companies across various industries excluding resource sectors.
