NRG Energy board member Kevin Howell resigns effective immediately

NRG Energy Inc. (NYSE: NRG) announced that Kevin T. Howell resigned from the company's board of directors effective January 2, 2026, to pursue another opportunity.

Howell informed the board of his intention to resign immediately. The company stated that his decision was not the result of any disagreement with the company, management, or the board regarding operations, policies, or practices.
