NASB Financial, Inc. (OTCQX: NASB) announced Linda Hancock has retired from the company's board of directors, effective immediately. Hancock, who served as a non-independent director since 1995, is the wife of NASB Chairman David H. Hancock.

The company stated Hancock's retirement was not the result of any disagreement with management regarding operations, policies or practices.

The board has appointed Patrick Hancock to fill the vacancy created by Linda Hancock's retirement. Patrick Hancock will serve for the remainder of the current term, which expires in January 2028. He is the son of David H. Hancock and Linda Hancock.

The company said Patrick Hancock's appointment was made in connection with the Hancock family's succession planning process. Due to his relationship to the chairman, the board determined he will serve as a non-independent director.

Patrick Hancock is a managing member of Hanland Group, which invests in and operates multifamily rental properties. He previously worked in the Investments Group at Shorenstein Properties and the Portfolio Management Group at Hall Capital Partners. He holds a master's degree from New York University and a bachelor's degree from Tulane University.

NASB Financial is a unitary thrift holding company for North American Savings Bank, a community bank headquartered in Grandview, Missouri, that has served customers since 1927.
