Mobia Medical adds ex-Procept BioRobotics CEO to its board

Mobia Medical, Inc. (Nasdaq: MOBI) announced the appointment of Reza Zadno, Ph.D., to its board of directors as an independent director, effective July 14, 2026. Dr. Zadno will also serve on the company's Compensation Committee.



Dr. Zadno brings more than 35 years of medical technology experience. He most recently served as President and CEO of PROCEPT BioRobotics (Nasdaq: PRCT), a surgical robotics company, from February 2020 to September 2025, leading the company through its 2021 IPO.



Prior to that role, he served as President and CEO of Avedro, a public ophthalmology company, from September 2016 to November 2020, before its acquisition by Glaukos. He also served on the boards of Invuity, Inc., prior to its acquisition by Stryker, and Carbylan Therapeutics, prior to its merger with KalVista Pharmaceuticals.



Dr. Zadno currently serves as an Operating Partner at Jolt Capital, a private equity firm, and as a Special Advisor to the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Mechanical Properties of Materials from École Nationale Supérieure de Mines de Paris.
