Middlesex Water appoints Robert Hoglund to board of directors

Middlesex Water Company (NASDAQ: MSEX) announced the appointment of Robert Hoglund to its board of directors, effective January 1, 2026.
Hoglund brings extensive financial leadership experience, having served more than 18 years as chief financial officer of Consolidated Edison, Inc. He previously worked as a managing director in Citigroup's mergers and acquisitions group, where he advised Fortune 500 utilities and energy companies on transactions and financing.
The executive currently serves on boards and provides advisory services focused on finance modernization, enterprise risk management, and investor engagement. His background includes work in corporate governance and guidance on utility and energy transition challenges.
"His distinguished career, marked by significant expertise in governance, complex utility finance, and operational strategy will strengthen the future we are building for our company, customers, and communities," said Nadine Leslie, chair, president, and chief executive officer of Middlesex Water Company.
Middlesex Water Company, established in 1897, provides water and wastewater services to more than half a million people in New Jersey and Delaware. The company is based in Iselin, New Jersey.
