MDJM Ltd. appoints sinologist Duncan Campbell to its board
MDJM Ltd. (OTCQB: UOKAF) announced the appointment of Professor Duncan Murray Campbell, a sinologist and scholar of Chinese cultural studies, as a director of the company for a two-year term, according to a press release statement.
Professor Campbell's research covers Chinese literature, classical gardens, literati traditions, material culture, book collecting and East-West cultural exchange. He has taught Chinese language, literature, history and civilization at several international universities and has been involved in East Asian garden research at The Huntington Library in the United States.
According to the company, Professor Campbell's role will be limited to high-level, non-executive and non-binding cultural and academic input across five areas: cultural positioning strategy, review of project documents at key stages, participation in site visits or phase-based meetings upon invitation, engagement in selected cultural events, and directional advice on cultural education, publications and potential academic collaborations.
The company states that final decisions on project management, implementation, public communications and business matters will remain with management and the board.
MDJM Ltd. describes its core business as original animation IP development, a digital animation museum, and the Fernie Castle Animation Museum and Oriental Garden cultural environment project in Scotland.
