Lou Orfanos joins Thryv board of directors

Thryv Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: THRY) announced that shareholders elected Lou Orfanos to its board of directors on June 12, 2025, according to a company statement.

Orfanos serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Commerce at Toast, where he oversees strategy and execution for the company's restaurant and commerce business software and hardware products. He brings over 20 years of experience in product development, sales, marketing and customer success.

Before joining Toast, Orfanos worked as General Manager and Vice President of Product at HubSpot, where he led Sales Hub development. The company stated that under his leadership, Sales Hub became a customer relationship management platform for small businesses.

"Lou is a valuable addition to our board, given his impressive track record of scaling high-growth SaaS companies that serve the SMB market," said Joe Walsh, Chairman and CEO of Thryv. "As we continue to expand our product offerings and AI capabilities to meet the changing needs of business owners, we'll benefit from Lou's deep product development and go-to-market expertise."

Orfanos commented on his appointment: "Given its long history and considerable client base of over 100,000 small business clients, Thryv is uniquely positioned to advance the digital transformation of the small business sector."

Thryv provides software platforms for small business marketing and sales operations. The company serves more than 100,000 businesses globally with services including marketing automation, appointment scheduling and online payment processing.

Orfanos holds a bachelor's degree from Bentley University and serves as a guest lecturer in Harvard Business School's product management MBA program.
