Levi Strauss & Co. (NYSE: LEVI) announced that Spencer Fleischer retired from its board of directors on October 2, 2025, after reaching the company's mandatory retirement age of 72.
Fleischer, a Class I director, had served on the board since 2013 and most recently chaired the Compensation and Human Capital Committee while serving as a member of the Finance Committee. The company's corporate governance guidelines require directors to resign automatically upon their 72nd birthday unless the board waives this requirement.
Troy Alstead was named chair of the Compensation and Human Capital Committee effective upon Fleischer's retirement. The company stated that Fleischer's departure was not due to any disagreement with the company regarding its operations, policies or practices.
Following Fleischer's departure, Levi Strauss & Co.'s board consists of twelve directors.
