LeonaBio adds three directors to board, John Fluke retires

LeonaBio Inc. (NASDAQ: LONA) appointed Fred Callori, Natalie Holles and Peter Silverman to its board of directors effective May 5, according to a company statement. The appointments coincide with the retirement of John Fluke Jr., who served on the board since 2014 and stepped down May 4.

Callori serves as partner and managing director at Perceptive Advisors LLC, an investment firm specializing in biotechnology stocks, since January 2018. He previously held senior roles at Xontogeny LLC and was a partner at Choate, Hall & Stewart LLP from 1998 to 2017. Callori holds a law degree from Boston University School of Law.

Holles became chief executive officer and board member of Aura Biosciences in April 2026. She previously served as CEO of Third Harmonic Bio from August 2021 to December 2025 and held executive positions at Audentes Therapeutics, Hyperion Therapeutics and other biotechnology companies. She earned degrees from Stanford University and University of Colorado, Boulder.

Silverman served as chief operating officer of Merus N.V. from January 2023 until its acquisition by Genmab A/S in December 2025. He previously held multiple roles at Merus including general counsel and was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Silverman has served on the board of Kinaset Therapeutic since January 2026 and holds a law degree from Fordham University School of Law.

LeonaBio is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company based in the Seattle area developing treatments for diseases including treatment-resistant metastatic breast cancer and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
