Kyntra Bio names Andrew Singer to board as Maykin Ho departs

Kyntra Bio (Nasdaq: KYNB) announced the appointment of Andrew E. Singer to its Board of Directors as an independent director and member of the Audit Committee, effective October 1, 2026.

Singer is the founder and CEO of Fika Bio Consulting, Inc. He previously served as Head of West Coast Biotechnology Investment Banking at Credit Suisse, as a Managing Director in the Biotechnology Investment Banking Group at Wells Fargo, and as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Epizyme. He also spent more than 10 years at RBC Capital Markets. Over his banking career, Singer participated in transactions valued at more than $50 billion. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Yale University.

Separately, Kyntra Bio said Maykin Ho, Ph.D. stepped down from the board effective September 30, 2026, after nearly eight years of service.

James A. Schoeneck, Chairman of the Board, attributed Singer's appointment to his background in biotechnology finance, corporate development, and public company operations. The announcement was based on a press release statement from the company.
