Kiboko Gold names new CFO and board member
Kiboko Gold Inc. (TSXV: KIB) appointed Jody Bellefleur as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary, effective immediately, according to a company statement. Bellefleur brings over 15 years of public company experience in financial reporting, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
The appointment follows the resignation of Bradley Boland from the CFO and Corporate Secretary positions. Bellefleur also serves as Chief Financial Officer of Zimtu Capital Corp., which owns 1,875,000 common shares and 1,875,000 warrants of Kiboko, representing approximately 10.92% of the company's issued shares on an undiluted basis.
Two board members, Jon Morda and Dr. Olivier Féménias, resigned from the Board of Directors effective immediately. Dr. Féménias will continue serving as an officer of the company.
The company announced the appointment of Matthew Gow to the Board of Directors, subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval. Gow has more than 30 years of public markets experience, beginning his career as a licensed U.S. equity trader. His background includes capital markets advisory, investor communications, and financing strategy for publicly listed resource companies across North America.
Kiboko is a Canadian exploration company focused on its Harricana Gold Project, located 55 kilometers north of Val-d'Or, Quebec, within the Abitibi gold belt. The company's shares trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol KIB.
