Keros Therapeutics names Anne Prener to its board of directors

Keros Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: KROS) announced the appointment of Anne Prener, M.D., Ph.D., to its board of directors, effective July 1, 2026.
Prener currently serves as a senior innovation advisor at the University of Copenhagen and as a non-executive director at XSpray Pharma. She previously served as chief executive officer of Imbria Pharmaceuticals Inc. from July 2020 to September 2024, and as venture partner at SV Health Investors from September 2020 to October 2024.
Earlier roles include chief executive officer of Freeline Therapeutics Ltd. from July 2017 to June 2019, and chief executive officer of Gyroscope Therapeutics Ltd. from August 2016 to July 2017. Before those positions, she served as global therapeutic area head of hematology and vice president of clinical research hematology at Baxalta, and held several roles at Novo Nordisk, most recently as senior vice president of hemophilia R&D portfolio.
Prener previously served on the boards of directors of Galecto, Inc., Rubius Therapeutics, Inc., and Kaleido Biosciences, Inc. She holds both a Ph.D. in epidemiology and an M.D. from the University of Copenhagen.

Keros is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company based in Lexington, Mass., developing therapeutics targeting dysfunctional signaling of the TGF-ß family of proteins. Its lead candidates include rinvatercept, being developed for Duchenne muscular dystrophy and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and elritercept, targeting cytopenias in patients with myelodysplastic syndrome and myelofibrosis.
