The company also announced its common shares are now eligible for electronic clearing and settlement through the Depository Trust Company (DTC) in the United States. This development follows the recent commencement of trading on the OTCQB Venture Market under ticker symbol KOGDF.
DTC eligibility allows securities to be electronically cleared and settled, potentially accelerating the settlement process for investors and brokers. The system is managed by the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation.
KO Gold operates as a Canadian junior exploration company focused on gold properties within New Zealand's Otago Gold District. The company holds four exploration permits covering 400 square kilometers and maintains a net smelter return on three additional permits totaling 340 square kilometers.
