Ipsen names Mariette Finet to its board of directors

Ipsen (Euronext: IPN; ADR: IPSEY) has appointed Mariette Finet to its board of directors, effective immediately, according to a company statement. Finet succeeds Michèle Ollier, who resigned from the board on Aug. 1, 2026.

Finet holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Nancy and has more than 35 years of experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors. She began her career at Laboratoires Beaufour in Paris, working in pharmaceutical asset analysis and clinical research, with a focus on gastroenterology. She later held positions in the marketing department at Beaufour-Ipsen Pharma and subsequently at Ipsen.

Since 2007, Finet has served in scientific and medical advisory roles at Mayroy and Highrock S.àr.l., focusing on investment analysis and portfolio oversight in the pharmaceutical, MedTech and life sciences sectors. She has also served on the boards of Lightinderm SAS and Kaerus Bioscience Ltd.

In addition to her board seat, Finet has been appointed to Ipsen's Board Portfolio Committee, also succeeding Ollier. Her appointment is subject to ratification at the company's next Annual Shareholders' Meeting. If ratified, she will serve the remainder of Ollier's term, which expires at the Annual Shareholders' Meeting convened to approve financial statements for the year ending Dec. 31, 2026.

Following the appointment, Ipsen's board continues to comprise 14 directors, including seven women and seven men, four independent directors, and two employee representatives.
