International Paper Company (NYSE: IP) has finalized committee assignments for two independent directors appointed to its board earlier this year.
Katherine Collins and Lori J. Ryerkerk were appointed as independent directors effective October 1, 2026. On October 8, 2026, the board, acting on the recommendation of its Governance Committee, assigned Collins to the Audit and Finance Committee and the Governance Committee, and assigned Ryerkerk to the Management Development and Compensation Committee and the Safety, Sustainability and Technology Committee.
The committee assignments were not determined at the time of the initial appointments, which were disclosed in a Form 8-K filed on July 17, 2026.
Separately, directors Ahmet C. Dorduncu and Kathryn D. Sullivan previously notified the board of their intention to retire effective December 31, 2026. During the transition period, both will attend relevant committee meetings as invited guests in a non-voting capacity and will not be counted for governance or quorum purposes.
The information was disclosed in a Current Report on Form 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
