Ian Wendler to retire from Jewett-Cameron board by July 31
Jewett-Cameron Trading Company Ltd. (NASDAQ: JCTC) announced that board member Ian Wendler has notified the company of his intention to retire from its Board of Directors on or about July 31, 2026.
Wendler was originally appointed to the board in December 2023 and was re-elected at the company's most recent shareholder meeting on February 27, 2026. The company stated that his retirement is not the result of any disagreement over the company's operations, policies, or practices.
Wendler serves as an independent director and is a member of the Audit Committee. His departure will leave a vacancy on the board, and the company said it has begun a search to fill the position.
