IBEX Limited (NASDAQ: IBEX) announced December 19 that its board of directors unanimously appointed Shuja Keen as a director to fill a current board vacancy. Keen previously served on the IBEX board from March 2018 through December 2024.
The company stated that Keen brings experience in executive leadership, global operations, artificial intelligence, and knowledge of the customer experience industry and capital markets. During his previous board tenure, Keen oversaw the company's artificial intelligence strategy.
The board appointed current director John Jones to serve as board chairman. Since Jones does not meet NASDAQ independence requirements, the board named Mingzhe (JJ) Zhuang as lead independent director. The board also appointed Zhuang as chair of the corporate governance committee, which now consists of Zhuang and Jones.
IBEX stated there are no arrangements or understandings between Keen and any other person regarding his appointment, and no family relationships exist between Keen and any company director or officer.
The information is based on a company press release.
