Home BancShares Inc. (NYSE: HOMB) announced that its board of directors approved the appointment of John W. Allison II as a director, effective immediately.
Allison's term will continue until the company's next annual meeting or until his successor is elected and qualified, according to the company's statement. He has not been assigned to any board committees at this time.
John W. Allison II is the son of John W. Allison, who serves as the company's chairman and chief executive officer.
The board approved the appointment on January 16, 2026.
