Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE) has appointed David Goulden to its board of directors, the company announced. Goulden will serve on the board's Finance & Investment Committee and HR & Compensation Committee.
Goulden most recently served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Booking Holdings Inc., the parent company of Booking.com, Priceline, and KAYAK.
Before Booking Holdings, Goulden spent more than a decade in senior leadership roles at EMC Corporation, where he held the positions of chief financial officer, chief operating officer, and chief executive officer of EMC's Information Infrastructure business. Following Dell Technologies' acquisition of EMC in 2016, which was described at the time as the largest technology merger in history, Goulden served as president of the combined company's Infrastructure Solutions Group, which included its storage, server, and networking businesses.
Goulden previously served on the board of VMware, where he was a member of the Audit and Mergers & Acquisitions Committees.
"David brings deep experience leading large, global technology businesses through significant periods of growth, transformation, and innovation," said Pat Russo, chair of HPE's board of directors. "His expertise across enterprise technology, finance, operations, and M&A will be a tremendous asset to the Board."
