H.B. Fuller Company (NYSE: FUL) announced the appointment of R. Jeffrey Bailly to its board of directors, effective immediately. Concurrently, Ruth Kimmelshue is stepping down from the board after approximately nine years of service.

Bailly served as CEO of UFP Technologies from 1995 to 2026, during which the company completed more than 20 acquisitions and expanded into medical technology end markets. According to the press release, UFP's revenue grew approximately 20-fold during his tenure, while its market capitalization grew more than 150-fold. Over the final five years of his tenure, UFP's share price increased by approximately 300%. Bailly currently serves as executive chairman of the UFP board.

Prior to his CEO role, Bailly held several operational positions at UFP and previously worked at Coopers & Lybrand as a certified public accountant.

Celeste Mastin, president and CEO of H.B. Fuller, cited Bailly's experience in medical end markets as relevant to the company's goal of reaching greater than 20% adjusted EBITDA margin. H.B. Fuller reported 2025 revenue of $3.5 billion and employs more than 7,100 people across 150 countries.

Board chair Terry Rasmussen noted that shareholder consultations had influenced the board candidate selection process. Kimmelshue said she steps down with confidence in the leadership team's strategy.
