Greenlane names Canopy Growth co-founder Bruce Linton as chairman

Greenlane Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: GNLN) announced that Bruce Linton, co-founder of Canopy Growth, has been elected chairman of the board following the company's annual stockholder meeting held December 9, 2025.



The meeting results showed Linton received 127,751 votes in favor of his election, representing 97.75% of votes cast. Four other directors were also elected to serve until the next annual meeting: Barbara Sher, Donald Hunter, William Levy, and Michael C. Howe.



Stockholders approved the reappointment of PKF O'Connor Davies, LLP as the company's auditors for fiscal year 2025. The board was authorized to determine auditor compensation.



Additional approved proposals included an amendment to the company's 2019 Equity Incentive Plan, increasing authorized common stock shares to 3,000,000. Stockholders also approved a financing proposal to issue common stock and pre-funded warrants, along with an advisory compensation proposal for warrant issuance to advisors.



Greenlane describes itself as a Berachain-focused digital asset treasury company and global seller of cannabis accessories. The company states it participates in network staking, liquidity provisioning, and strategic initiatives supporting decentralized protocols.
