Goldera adds Iamgold founding director Naik to its board

Goldera Exploration Ltd. (TSX-V: GERA) has appointed Mahendra G. Naik, CPA, CA, a founding director of Iamgold Corporation, to its board of directors, effective Aug. 17, 2026.



Naik is currently chairman of Fortune Minerals Limited and a director of Goldmoney Inc. He previously served as a senior executive at Iamgold, where he was part of the team that developed the company from a private exploration business into a publicly traded gold producer.



Separately, Mark Billings has transitioned from the board to the role of Executive Vice President, Corporate Development, also effective Aug. 17, 2026. Billings previously served as CEO, CFO, and director of various publicly traded resource companies, and as Vice President, Corporate Finance at Desjardins Securities Inc. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and the CFA designation.



Goldera also announced it has retained Integral Wealth Securities Limited to provide market-making services on the TSX Venture Exchange, with services expected to begin Aug. 20, 2026. Under the agreement, Integral will receive a cash fee of $5,000 per month for an initial three-month period, after which the agreement may be terminated by Goldera with 30 days' written notice. Integral holds no interest in Goldera or its securities and will not receive shares or options as compensation.



The company also granted 214,286 deferred share units to a director under its Omnibus Equity Incentive Compensation Plan. Each unit entitles the recipient to one common share upon settlement. The units will fully vest on Aug. 14, 2027, and will settle upon the holder's termination of service.



Goldera is a Canadian gold and copper exploration company advancing the Egan Gold Project in Ontario's Abitibi Greenstone Belt and the Acadian Gold Corp. joint venture in New Brunswick.
