Gold Hunter Resources awards drill contract and adds board advisor
Gold Hunter Resources Inc. (CSE: HUNT) (OTCQB: HNTRF) has awarded an exploration contract to Equity Exploration Consultants Ltd. for its inaugural drill program at the Great Northern Project in Newfoundland, according to a company statement.
The Vancouver-based mining exploration company plans to complete 10,000 metres of diamond drilling in 2026. Equity Exploration Consultants, a geological consulting firm with nearly 40 years of experience, will manage all exploration activities and work with Gold Hunter to secure subcontractors.
Gold Hunter also announced the appointment of Jeff Wilson as an advisor to the board. Wilson holds a PhD in structural geology from Kingston University and has over 20 years of experience in mineral exploration and consulting. His previous roles include positions with Tetra Tech, TSX Venture Exchange, Placer Dome Inc., AngloGold Ashanti, and Newcrest Mining. Wilson currently serves as Vice President Exploration with Nevada Lithium Resources Inc.

The Great Northern Project covers 26,237 hectares and spans over 35 kilometres along the Doucers Valley Fault Structure in Newfoundland. The company has identified over 50 kilometres of potential geological features with known mineralization within the fault system.
Gold Hunter Resources focuses on acquiring and advancing precious and base metal projects. The company previously divested its first consolidated district to FireFly Metals Ltd.
