Gogoro adds three directors, expanding board to seven members

Gogoro Inc. (Nasdaq: GGR) has appointed Peter Ming-Tuan Huang, Su-Ming Lin, and Jason Yu-Hsien Chang to its Board of Directors, effective October 7, 2026, bringing the total number of directors to seven, according to a company statement.
Peter Ming-Tuan Huang is the founder of Taiwan RT-Mart and China RT-Mart and previously served as chief executive officer and chairman of Sun Art Retail Group, a Hong Kong-listed company. He currently serves as chief executive officer of Ruentex Group and chairman of Hefei Jinghe Huixin Private Equity Fund Management Co., Ltd. He holds an MBA from National Taiwan University.
Su-Ming Lin, an emeritus professor at National Taiwan University's College of Management, has been designated by the board as an "audit committee financial expert" under applicable SEC rules. He holds a Ph.D. in accounting from Arizona State University and has passed CPA examinations in both Taiwan and the United States. He currently serves as an independent director at several Taiwan-listed companies, including Chunghwa Telecom Co., Ltd. Upon joining the board as an independent director, Dr. Lin will serve on Gogoro's Audit Committee and Compensation Committee.
Jason Yu-Hsien Chang currently serves as senior portfolio manager in the investment department of Ruentex Group, a role he assumed in August 2026. He previously spent 15 years at Nan Shan Life Insurance, where he most recently served as head of multi-asset investment in the alternative investment department. He holds a master of science in financial engineering from National Chengchi University.
Tamon Tseng, chairman of the board, said in the statement that each appointee "brings a distinct set of experiences and perspectives that will strengthen our Board."
