Gladstone Investment adds George Stelljes to board of directors

Gladstone Investment Corporation (NASDAQ: GAIN) announced the election of George "Chip" Stelljes, III to its board of directors, effective June 1, 2026. Stelljes was elected to the 2028 class of directors, expanding the board from seven to eight members.
The company appointed Stelljes to serve on three board committees: the Compensation Committee, Ethics, Nominating & Corporate Governance Committee, and Valuation Committee. Stelljes brings more than 25 years of experience in investment analysis, management, and advisory industries to the role.
Stelljes currently serves as managing partner of St. John's Capital, LLC, a private equity investment vehicle. From 2001 to 2013, he held senior positions within the Gladstone Companies, including chief investment officer, president, and director roles at Gladstone Capital Corporation, Gladstone Investment Corporation, Gladstone Commercial Corporation, and Gladstone Management Corporation.
Before joining the Gladstone Companies, Stelljes spent 23 years in various roles at private equity and venture capital funds, including positions at Patriot Capital, Camden Partners, Columbia Capital, and Allied Capital.
Stelljes currently chairs the board of Equalize Community Development Fund, a closed-end investment company operating as an interval fund. He also serves as an independent director of Oxford Square Capital Corporation, a publicly-traded, closed-end management investment company. He previously served as a board member and regional president of the National Association of Small Business Investment Companies.
Stelljes holds an MBA from the University of Virginia and a BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University. The information was disclosed in a company press release.
