Future Mineral appoints new CEO and engages investor relations firm

Future Mineral Resources Inc. (TSX: FMR) announced the appointment of Indivar Pathak as president and chief executive officer, effective immediately. The Toronto-based company also named Con Steers as non-executive chairman, Stephen Woodhead as chief financial officer, and Dr. Andreas Rompel as chief operating officer.
The appointments follow the resignations of Fred Leigh as president, CEO and director, and Peter Michel as chief financial officer, both effective immediately.
Pathak holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Delhi University and professional certifications as a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant since 2002. He previously worked at Deutsche Bank, Cadbury and Rogers AT&T.
Steers brings over 40 years of international business experience and served as a director and senior executive at Brazilian investment firm Docas Investimentos. He has held board positions at several publicly traded companies, including PRIO S.A. Steers earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University.
Woodhead is a graduate of the University of Cape Town and member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. He has over 30 years of experience in the resource sector and currently serves as chief financial officer of Black Iron Inc., Q-Gold Resources Ltd. and Aberdeen International Inc.
Dr. Rompel has more than 30 years of exploration and mining experience across various commodities including precious metals, base metals, cobalt and lithium. He previously evaluated capital projects at Anglo American and served as technical director on the board of Spectrem.
The company also announced it entered into a master services agreement with Native Ads Inc. on April 15 for investor awareness marketing services. The agreement covers a 24-month period beginning in the second quarter of 2026, with costs ranging from $70,000 to $425,000 payable in advance.
Future Mineral describes itself as a venture capital company focused on acquiring and advancing brownfield, development-stage and early production-stage mining projects in the Americas and Europe.
