Freshworks chairman to retire in December, board names successor

Freshworks Inc. (NASDAQ: FRSH) announced that Executive Chairman Rathna Girish Mathrubootham will retire from his positions effective December 1, 2025. Mathrubootham will step down from his roles as Executive Chairman, Class III Board member, and Chairman of the Board to focus on Together Fund, a venture fund he co-founded.

The company's Board of Directors has appointed Roxanne Austin as the new Chairperson of the Board, effective December 1, 2025. Austin currently serves as Lead Independent Director and has been a board member since May 2021.

The information was disclosed in a company statement regarding the leadership transition at the software company.
