Forward Industries names Galaxy Digital's Michael Ashe to its board

Forward Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: FWDI) has appointed Michael Ashe, Chief Strategy Officer at Galaxy Digital, to its board of directors, effective immediately, according to a press release.
Ashe previously served as a board observer for the company and transitions into a full director role. He has held several positions at Galaxy Digital over nearly six years, including Head of Strategy & Corporate Development and Head of Investment Banking.
Before joining Galaxy Digital, Ashe spent nearly six years as a Director of Investment Banking at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., advising clients from the firm's New York office. Earlier in his career, he spent almost seven years at Citi across Equity Capital Markets, Structured Finance, and Strategy & Planning. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from The Johns Hopkins University.
Kyle Samani, Chairman of the Board of Forward Industries, commented on the appointment: "Michael has been a valued voice in our boardroom as an observer, and his appointment as a director reflects the confidence we have in his judgment and expertise as a seasoned veteran in both the crypto industry and the broader finance and technology industries."
Forward Industries describes itself as a Solana-focused digital asset treasury company whose strategy includes buying, holding, staking, and investing in SOL and related digital assets. The company launched its digital asset treasury strategy in September 2025, supported by Galaxy Digital and Jump Crypto.
