Rohac brings over 34 years of experience at the Business Development Bank of Canada, where she most recently served as managing partner of the Climate Tech venture capital fund from 2017 to May 2025. In that role, she managed a portfolio exceeding $1 billion in assets, including a $600 million fund and a $500 million fund launched in 2022 focused on clean technology companies.
The company granted Rohac 250,000 stock options exercisable at $0.35 per share, expiring August 17, 2030, subject to the stock option plan terms and TSX Venture Exchange policies.
Focus Graphite will participate in the Canadian Critical Minerals Investment Forum, a trade mission organized by Natural Resources Canada and Invest in Canada. The forum takes place in Tokyo from August 26-28, 2025, and in Korea from August 29-30, 2025. The company is one of two Canadian graphite companies attending the event.
On August 14, Focus Graphite visited its Lac Knife project site near Fermont, Quebec, hosting a representative from Korea Mine Rehabilitation and Mineral Resources Corporation and Rohac. The company also met with Town of Fermont officials to provide project updates.
Focus Graphite develops graphite projects in Quebec, with the Lac Knife project as its flagship asset that has completed a feasibility study. The company also owns the Lac Tétépisca project and develops battery technologies including silicon-enhanced spheroidized graphite materials.
